Stratus Security was formed in 2019 by it’s managing director Glynn Alner. After serving with distinction in the Royal Marines, Glynn travelled to South Africa to complete extensive training with the world-renowned security training provider, Ronin SA. Learning expert techniques in risk management, medical training, live in Cape Town as part of ambulance response teams, pedestrian escort and advances, counter surveillance, advanced defensive driving and firearms training. This military experience and high-level security training is what set the foundation for the vision and ethos that has grown into Stratus Security’s unwavering reputation.
Since then, the company has developed and diversified to provide a range of security services from venue security to full close protection teams. Through networking and repeated recommendations Stratus has continued to provide the highest levels of security risk management to a variety of client needs.
